Step 1: Consists of an initial meeting with our web programmer/developer and your company
liaison. At this meeting we will examine your needs for a web site, how it integrates into your business plan and outline exactly what you want your site to accomplish. Our goal during this meeting is two-fold; (1) To listen and understand what you want, and (2) To discuss possibilities for your site, that you may have not thought of. By the way, the meetings that we describe here can be in person, by phone, or online.
Step 2: Following our initial meeting we will develop an outline for your site.
This will be submitted for your approval. We will also discuss here the domain names for your site and initiate the domain name registration process.
Step 3: Once we have approval of the outline our graphics designer will begin creating your
the graphical elements for your web site. We will post, on a temporary web server, the various graphical elements for your site so that you can see what they look like
and give input. Our goal here is to keep you informed about the development of your site so as to minimize design changes later that will lead to delays and increased costs. While we are developing your site structure and graphical elements your team liaison will be assembling and collecting the content. The content needs to be given to us in a digital form, i.e. as a Word document on a disk or via email.
Step 4: Once we have your site structure and graphics done we will import your content into your web site. This process can take some time depending on how quickly you can feed us
the content.
Step 5: After the content is brought into the site we will again post it for you in a temporary directory on our server so you can review and test the site. Once we are both satisfied and any last minute tweaking of your site is complete we will upload your site to it's permanent location.
Step 6: This final step consists of registering your site with the Top 10 search engines and working with you and your staff to understand how to use and/or update portions of your site. |
