What is Webmastering, and how is it different from web design?
A. Webmastering is a comprehensive approach to doing business on the web. It differs from web design in that web design is but one part of the Webmastering service. In essence, Webmastering encompasses

value added services.

Do you provide Internet access?
A. No! While we will host your web site you will still need to buy Internet access in your local area.

What does it
matter who hosts my site?
A. The company you choose to host your web site is paramount to your online business success. Not all web hosting companies are created equal. A good web hosting company will allow your web designer to have access to your account in a way that makes updates easy and efficient, they will back-up your site each night, they will have redundant systems to deal with power outages and overall will have less than 1% downtime.

How long will it take to design and implement my site?
A. Most sites take anywhere from a few weeks to several months depending on the complexity and level of interactivity involved. Another factor here is how long it takes your people to develop the content.

What is interactivity?
A. Interactivity is the ability of the web site visitor to interact, communicate, or conduct business through your site. Examples would include online forms, shopping carts, databases, streaming audio/video, chat rooms and bulletin boards.

How do you determine the cost of designing and implementing my site?
A. While many web design firms charge you by the number of pages your site contains, we do not! We feel a site should be as big or small as is necessary to achieve it's objective. Our costs/prices are determined by the level of interactivity or functionality of your site. The reason is, higher functioning/interactive sites require more work and more programming.

Can you administer my company/organization's online newsletter.
A. Absolutely! At
Precision Webmasters we feel an online newsletter is a great way to drive traffic to your site and keep visitor's coming back. Unfortunately an online newsletter is time consuming. In keeping with our objective of managing your web site so you can manage your business, we will do everything necessary to ensure your newsletter's success including; writing the copy, sending the newsletter, publicizing the newsletter, and managing your mailing lists and databases.
